She's so pretty

So, I sold the ol' Silver Bullett last week and added the newest addition to the Hansen Family. I'd like to introduce you all to my new baby. I haven't come up with a name for her just yet, so any suggestions would be helpful. She's so pretty. Fully loaded 2005 Honda Accord. I got a great deal on her, and love driving this new bute. The only different thing from the ol' Silver is the change in gas prices. :) This one is a V-6, so it costs about $50 to gas up to, as compared to my $30 I was usually paying. But, oh well, huh? It's so worth it.

SYTYCD meets American Idol

So, last week I partook in an evening of entertainment provided by my local Dish provider. Thank you for the time to bask in the memories of 2 of my favorite shows. So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol. During Idol Gives Back I got to see a little piece of heaven. I tried calling Corinne, cuz I knew she'd freak too, but she was having some little meeting about pyrimad businesses. BORING. Hello?!? Isn't this so much more important? Oh well, we finally talked and she freaked as much as me. It was a fantastic way to start the night off. I've posted a clip of it, so you can see what I'm talking about. It doesn't do it justice, but just so you know why I love these shows so much. :) Enjoy.

Update...

I found out last week that my little bro, sis-in-law and cutest niece ever are moving to Iowa this summer for Med School. I'll be honest, I cried. But I am super happy for them. I am most especially happy for the memories we will make in Thailand before they move.

I saw Colbie Caillat at Tuacahn over the weekend and had a blast. She was way good. She performs great live. And her lead guitarist that opened for her was smokin'. Yeah, I'm 30 and can still say that. :)

And now I think I am going to get a new car. If anyone knows someone that needs a reliable little run-around car, I'm going to sell mine. It's a 1998 Honda Civic. Silver, and in great condition. I'll start it around $5,000, with some wiggle room. :)
